Carly Rae Jepsen, born in Mission British Columbia Canada on 21 November 1985. Carly Rae JEPSEN began playing the piano in the early years of her life and began performing in local talent shows in high school. Following her graduation from high school, she studied at the Canadian College of Performing Arts located within Victoria (British Columbia). In 2007, she was a contestant on Season 5 of Canadian Idol and made it to the top 3. She released her debut Tug of War album in 2008 after the show. The album reached the top spot on the Canadian Albums Chart. The album was released in 2012. her sophomore studio album Kiss with the hit hit Call Me Maybe. It was a huge hit across the world chart-topper in more than 18 countries. More than 15 million albums were sold. Since then she has released three more albums and has been awarded numerous times, including two Grammy nominations.
