David Muir is an American journalist and anchor best known for his ABC news program World News Tonight with David Muir and for the ABC News magazine 20/20, for which he is anchorman and anchor and co-anchor. The most popular newscast of America is his show, which features dramatic videos and animations. Made In America has also been selected for the Emmy Awards. In the years before the appointment of ABC World News Tonight's anchor, Sawyer served as Sawyer's main successor. Since then, he has covered many ABC News primetime specials including Breaking Point Heroin in America. He's been to a variety of countries around the globe covering the current news. From Gaza Egypt Iran Somalia Japan Peru Ukraine Haiti, and the Gulf of Mexico. The awards he has received include numerous Edward R. Murrow Awards in addition to honors by The Associated Press.
