Annie Mist Thorisdottir works as an experienced professional CrossFit athlete from Reykjavik Iceland. She is also a coach as well as instructor at Crossfit Reykjavik. Annie has the distinction of being only one woman in history to have won at the CrossFit Games two times. Annie was second in the 2010. CrossFit Games and the 2014 CrossFit Games. Annie Thorisdottir (Islander) is a weightlifter CrossFit and a media star. She won CrossFit Games 2011 and 2012 two times as the first woman to win. The other accomplishments she has achieved include winning Dubai Fitness Competitions in 2017 and 2013. Annie, along with the rest of her family, was born to Reykjavik Iceland. In her early years she was a huge enthusiast of fitness and sports. She took part in a variety of school competitions and was awarded a variety of medals. The year 2009 saw Annie Thorisdottir took part in the CrossFit event in California. Annie Thorisdottir turns 31 by 2021. She stands at 5'7" tall, and weighs 67 kilograms. Annie started CrossFit classes in California in the year 2009. At the beginning of her competition, she was very successful and was ranked in the Top 10 out of 70. Although she didn't win any of the titles however she was able to finish in the 11th spot. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. Her coach Jami Tikannen guided her to an overall second place in the CrossFit Games, and a medal of silver in that year. Following that, she participated again in CrossFit Games and won them due to her impressive performance. She was the first woman to ever be the winner of CrossFit Games. Annie won again her place in the CrossFit Games in 2012 due to her exceptional performance. She was the first female athlete to be crowned the winner of two CrossFit Games at once. Also, in 2014, she won a Silver Medal and most recently, in 2021, she took home a Bronze Medal in the CrossFit Games. At present, Annie coaches and trains for Crossfit Reykjavik which was started by her. Annie, who is gaining recognition for her athletic skills, has appeared in advertisements of sporting products like Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs Nuun Hydration's sidekick Yerbae Renewal Periodization Transparent Labs and other. In addition, she has her own Youtube channel, which is called "Annie" and has more than 1000 followers. The channel is the channel where she posts videos on the diet of her training, life with family and travel.
